From the outside everything seems clear and logic: a violent, criminal elder brother, who already announced to kill his sister, two years ago and who is said to having wanted to staple the dresses to her body, he regarded as too short, too colourful, too sexy. Parents who use violence on her. Numerous efforts to run away. Abducation to Afghanistan and the flight from there. A sixteen year-old girl, lying dead in the streets, numerous scars and over twenty stabs with a knife are registered.

Morsal Obeidi was a sixteen year-old girl in Germany who wanted the life of a sixteen year-old girl in Germany, though born in Afghanistan. Her life ended violently on a parking lot, on Mai, 29th  2008.

Still this case is not as easy and as obvious as it seems. In other cases – the word normal seems inappropriate in this case – the family sits together and decides what’s to do. In this case, Morsal’s mother was only informed after her daughter was already dead. Murdered by her son.  In other cases it is usually the joungest, who is forced to execute, because he is usually punished after juvenil law. Morsal’s brother, Ahmad is 23 years old.

It was an nanounced murder. Announced in November 2006, when Ahmad said, he would kill Morsal and already threatens her with a knife.  Announced in January 2007, when Ahmad hit her and tried to staple her clothes to her body. Announced in March 2008, when Morsal again, for the third time calls the police because her elder brother tried to beat her dead. Announced and reannounced in every single violent action taken by the family.

Ahmad is well known to the police in Hamburg. The danger emerging from him should have been more obvious to German administrative bodies, for him being known as multiple offender, also being involved in trials for collective violation and body harm. In this case, it only looks like an ‘honour killing’ . But the case is not going to be closed down under the pretext of being an “honour killing” … because it truly would be murder in affect, body harm with lethal conscience, under the simple pretext of being an honour killing. Though this would be the easiest. Just as it was the easiest ignoring the danger Ahmad embodies.

Americans fight harder than ever against illegal migrants. Therefore they actually installed a huge fence along the Mexican border and besides they heavily increased the number of deportations and razzias. Nevertheless more than thousand people try secretely to enter the US although the chances not to die of thirst during their way through the desert are very low.

To deepen this topic, we will present you on the one hand the deported people that were forced to leave America and on the other hand those who are still trying to enter the US. Consetly for both sides, there appear a lot of problems on which we will emphasize as well so that you can make yourself a clear image of the advantages and disadvantages.

Although there are some people and institutions that help the refugees still a great number of them dies on the way to realize their “American Dream”. With the aim of decreasing the number of illegal immigrants George W. Bush  now treats them with less tolerance in order to clean his country and safe his inhabitants. As there are different opinions concerning his point of view, we’ll show you some other ideas that underline the fact that this huge building lot at the Mexican order is quite comparable with the wall that used to separate the western and eastern part of Germany.

Up to May, 16th, 1927 the ship was named “Graf Goetzen”after Gustav Adolf von Götzen, German Eastafrican researcher and governor of german East Africa (today Tansania).

The steemshipIt was being transported from Papenburg to Kigoma, supported the German troops during WW I, it sank already twice in its existance time, once on German order after WW I was lost, once due to a storm, to heavy for the ship lying in the harbor … a long way to go for a ship! After being sunk by the Germans in 1916 it was emmediately recovered by the Belgians. In 1920 it sank again and was being recovered 7 years later by the British, by that time it’s name was changed from “Graf Goetzen” into M.S. Liemba.

Today the M.S. Liemba is the only ship regularly transporting people across the Lake.

“American Idiot”is the 7th album of the band green Day. 

The song was created to criticize the policy and acting of the U.S.A. after the terrorist attack of 9.11. . Referring to such issues as paranoia, propaganda and media, as well as “redneck agendas” and “alien nations” the song describes the everyday insanity caused by the american policy and  government. As the song was published in 2004, when George W. Bush was re-elected it can be seen as harsh criticism on his policy especially.  It mainly denounces the growing influence of media and propaganda onto the American people, done by politicians and their propaganda, and the hysteria caused by the scare tactics America uses as justification for happenings like the Iraq War which otherwise couldn’t be justified by any means.

The person in the song refuses to take part in this society and breaks through the common anthypathie.

If the ideas were to be put in action without the poorest people just suffering the most I think it might be a great plan to solve problems like differences in education, policy, economy and to prevent a thing like world-peace or at least a regulated and fair communication inbetween different countries and inbetween the different states of society… absolute poverty and diseases e.g. in africa could all be solved if the outworking of the ideas behind globalization would include exactly these poorer class of society would be included into it’s plans, not being exploited by them!!
